Effective April 22, 2026

© 2026 Azure Supply LLC. Varde is a product of Azure Supply LLC.

This Privacy Policy describes how Varde (“Varde,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Varde websites, applications, and services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories.

Information you provide. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password. When you use the Service you provide trip content such as destinations, dates, itineraries, notes, photos, budgets, expenses, and messages. If you contact support or respond to surveys, we collect the information you share with us. If you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details on our behalf; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Information from others. If someone invites you to a trip, we receive your email address and any information they include about you. If you sign in using a third-party identity provider, we receive the information that provider shares with us consistent with your settings.

Automatically collected information. When you use the Service, we automatically collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser type, language, time zone, referring and exit pages, pages and features viewed, clicks, scrolls, session duration, crash reports, and diagnostic data. We collect approximate location derived from your IP address, and, with your permission, precise location from your device.

Cookies and similar technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, analyze usage, and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Service works.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service and develop new features;
  • create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • enable collaboration on trips, including sharing your name and profile information with people you invite or who invite you;
  • process payments, manage subscriptions, and handle refunds and chargebacks;
  • send transactional communications such as account confirmations, invitations, receipts, security alerts, and notices about changes to the Service or our policies;
  • send product updates, promotional messages, and marketing communications where permitted by law, which you can opt out of at any time;
  • respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
  • personalize your experience and present content and features we think may interest you;
  • monitor, analyze, and measure trends, usage, and performance of the Service;
  • detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
  • comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service; and
  • carry out any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or for which you have consented.

We do not use the content of your trips to train third-party artificial intelligence models. Where we use automated tools internally to improve features such as suggestions or summarization, we process the minimum information needed for that purpose.

3. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information: (a) performance of a contract with you, where processing is necessary to provide the Service; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; (c) compliance with legal obligations; and (d) your consent, where required, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

4. How we share information

We share information in the following circumstances.

With other users. When you collaborate on a trip, the other members of that trip see your name, profile information, and the content you add to the trip. Content you share within a trip is visible to everyone on that trip.

With service providers. We share information with vendors that provide services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, database infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, customer support, and payment processing. These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Varde, our users, or the public.

Business transfers. If Varde is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have.

With your consent. We share information for any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.

5. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and operate internationally. When you use the Service, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or specific content, we delete or anonymize the information within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law, for example for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or security purposes. Backups and archival systems may retain copies for a limited additional period.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity on your account.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to (a) access the personal information we hold about you, (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete information, (c) delete your personal information, (d) restrict or object to certain processing, (e) receive a portable copy of your information, (f) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and (g) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

You can access and update much of your account information directly in the Service. To make any other request, write to us at hello@withvarde.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You can opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we will still send you transactional messages related to your account and the Service.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. In jurisdictions where a higher age applies, we apply that higher age.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services, or integrate with them. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing them with your information.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit Do Not Track signals. Because there is no industry standard for how to interpret these signals, we do not currently respond to them. We will update this policy if that changes.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of it.
